The town of Tokoroa lies in the centre of a popular tourism triangle, this being Rotorua, Waitomo and Taupo. This is a friendly, multicultural town with a population of 15,000 people. It is the Waikato region’s third largest town and is very central, being only 30km southeast of Rotorua. You can enjoy the advantages of living where there is no traffic congestion but only a short distance to nearby city centres. The education facilities consist of 9 primary schools, 1 intermediate school and 2 secondary schools.
There are lots of fun things to do in this area of the North Island, whether you enjoy hiking in the Mamaku Ranges or plunging into white water at the Wet’n’Wild Rafting of Rotorua! There’s an excellent adventure camp for the children that offers flying foxes, abseiling and many games. If you’re a thrill seeker try jumping out a plane at 15,000ft with the tandem sky diving in Rotorua!
This well-equipped practice is looking forward to welcoming their new long-term or permanent General Practitioner. They are flexible in your working week; choose between 6-10 sessions per week. A fantastic remuneration package is offered including some assistance with relocation costs and half of your medical fees reimbursed. Your team will consist of two other GPs, two practice nurses, clinical team leader, locality manager and two receptionists.
The practice encourages continuation of education and development of skills. The practice staff all support each other inside and outside of work when needed.
