Milton has a population of approximately 2000 people and is the gateway to North, South and Central Otago. This farming area provides the opportunity for travellers to become part of a local ‘family’ and experience life in a rural community. There are a number of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools in the area. It lies only three hours from the skifields of Wanaka and Queenstown, and just an hour from the beautiful Catlins, home to the endangered yellow-eyed penguin. The city of Dunedin is less than an hour’s drive and is rich with architecture, is home to the University of Otago and the world’s steepest residential street.
This busy practice is looking for a permanent general practitioner to join them from as soon as possible. The hours will be flexible from anywhere between 5-9 sessions per week, and with no on-call. Your team will consist of two other GPs, two nurses, practice manager and receptionists. Salary, accommodation assistance and vehicle assistance are all negotiable.
