This two doctor practice is looking for a full-time GP/Family Physician to join this small friendly team, on a long-term or permanent basis. Support will be provided by the practice manager and two nurses, and minimal on-call is required. Work in a great location in the centre of town with all terms and conditions negotiable.
Lying on the south-west of the North Island, Foxton is the oldest settlement in the southern Manawatu, which means there are lots of points of heritage to interest you. This town offers many museums for your family to explore, including: the Audio Visual Museum for film fanatics and for something a little bit different, you can visit the working Dutch windmill, where you can purchase the stone-ground flour! Take a ride on the horse-drawn tram; a replica of the 1880’s transport. If you love swimming then Foxton has it covered. Choose between the 3 swimming pools - indoor, outdoor and a toddlers’ playpool. Spend the day at Holben Reserve where you’ll find safe playgrounds, picnic and skateboarding areas and tennis courts. If you fancy a trip to the seaside you’ll find Foxton Beach a hop, skip and a jump away.
This river-side town lies only 38kms from the nearest city, this being Palmerston North. A full educational structure is in place offering kindergarten, primary schools and a college.
