NZLocums has short term/roving locum opportunities as well as long-term/permanent vacancies in most rural areas throughout New Zealand. Many of the practices who currently have a permanent vacancy are able to consider a long term placement to either fill the gap until a permanent doctor arrives or give you the opportunity to have a 'look see' then hopefully decide to stay. To express interest in any of our positions (permanent to locum) you must be registered and eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Alternatively, there is the option to work as a Roving Locum. This option will enable you to move around the country allowing you to experience all that life in New Zealand has to offer.
