 • GP vacancy with a difference!
 • Fantastic opportunity to help develop a new, growing practice
 • Chance for business ownership for those who are interested

This is a unique opportunity to join a brand new GP practice, to give your input and see it grow in the direction you want.

The current practice is moving out, and the long standing pharmacist is eager to take this opportunity to start a new practice in the premises. This is an excellent location on the east side of the city, and there is a large amount of patient feedback saying they want to keep a clinic at this location.

The practice already has on board an experienced practice manager, a registered nurse and an administrator. They have excellent support and backing from the local PHO. They are now ideally looking for one full time, or two part time (1.6 FTE) GPs to help run the practice. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and passionate about being involved in this new venture.

The owner is realistic about the time it will take to build up the patient base, and a competitive salary is guaranteed from when you start. Relocation assistance will be provided where required.
Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to join a new and vibrant urban practice in one of New Zealand’s most popular tourist destinations!

Rotorua enjoys a warm, temperate climate with summer months reaching 29°C and winter dipping to lows of 9°C. The city centre is vibrant with specialty department stores, fashion stores, book shops and pharmacies. There’s a wide range of international cuisine on offer including Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican, Japanese and many more. The city has a population of over 56,000 and there are a range of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools available. Being renowned for its massed beds of colourful tulips in spring is just one of the reasons why Rotorua has been the six time winner of ‘New Zealand’s Most Beautiful City’ award.

The most unique aspect about Rotorua is that it’s a geothermal area with geysers, bubbling mud pools and hot thermal springs (especially welcome in the winter), and these are all within easy reach.

There are 16 lakes in the district which are all formed from the craters of extinct volcanoes and are a popular attraction for many water-based activities.

New Zealand's largest skiing location is just two and a half hours away, with over 65 trails across 1050 hectares. For outdoor enthusiasts, the varied landscape of forests, mountains, geothermal activity, lakes and mild climate makes Rotorua the perfect place to start your Kiwi lifestyle.
