Role

We are seeking a GP or GP couple to join a well-established practice located on Wellington’s beautiful Kapiti Coast.

As well as GP services the practice offers a 7 day accident and medical service. The current vacancy is to join the general practice (8.30-5pm weekdays), however for those who are interested there are options to work in the urgent care also.

The clinic is located in a purpose-built medical centre with a pharmacy onsite, as well as Physiotherapy and X-ray. They provide a range of services including- Sexual Health Nurse specialty clinics, Fracture management, Minor surgery, Vasectomies, Acupuncture and Hand Clinic.

The practice is innovative in its model of providing care, using a 'pod' system with a practice nurse assigned to each GP, ensuring continuity of care as every patient is seen and assessed by the GP's nurse prior to seeing the GP.   

Benefits

A competitive (negotiable) salary package is on offer, with support for further training/education. Hours per week can be negotiated.
