An ambitious Taranaki joint venture to employ 500 Maori in the health and disability sector within the next 10 years is breaking national ground. (Taranaki Daily News).
Taranaki District Health Board chief Maori adviser, Ngawai Henare, said the Whakatipuranga Rima Rau (WRR) trust aim was to guide, mentor and fund Maori through education and training and onto employment in the local health and disability sector.
