Julie was born in South Africa and has travelled quite extensively before moving to New Zealand. She has visited many countries, including the USA, Canada, Holland, Spain, France, Germany and Switzerland. She understands the challenges and uncertainty of moving and is happy to discuss this with you if required. Julie is our company's licensed Immigration Advisor.
Julie joined the NZMedics team in 2008 having come from managing another recruitment agency in Wellington and brings with her a wealth of recruitment knowledge with a strong customer focus. She recently took on the role of General Manager - Recruitment and now manages both the NZMedics and NZLocums teams.

Emma has worked within the health recruitment industry since 2008. She has a passion for rural health in New Zealand. Emma has visited many of our beautiful rural communities whilst building up knowledge and understanding of each area. Prior to working with NZLocums she worked as a Recruitment Consultant for general practice nurses.
Sarah Maguire

Sarah has been working with the NZRGPN since 2010 and recently moved in to the NZLocums team. Previous to this she was recruiting hospital doctors and urban GPs with NZMedics. Sarah has five years recruitment experience in the office support and HR sector. In late 2009 her focus changed to healthcare, and she began working with doctors and nurses, sourcing them both nationally and internationally for positions New Zealand wide.

Emalene has worked in the health recruitment sector since March 2010. Prior to joining NZLocums Emalene provided secretariat support to a health research ethics committee. Emalene enjoys working in the health sector and looks forward to providing assistance to general practitioners in her role as a Relationship Manager.
Thomas Gay

Thomas is from the UK and graduated from the University of Wales with a BA Hons. He has travelled extensively through America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australasia. Having relocated to New Zealand in 2007 he spent the last four years in the recruitment industry. Thomas joined us in 2011 from a multinational recruitment company and is enjoying utilising his recruitment skills in the health sector.
Louise Pert
Project Co-ordinator

Louise has moved into a Project Co-ordinator role providing advertising, marketing and orientation support to the team. Prior to this she joined NZLocums as an Administrator. Louise comes from Scotland where she studied office and information management at tertiary level (National Certificate) and then worked for local government for six years. This role saw her involved primarily in continued professional development (CPD) and recruitment.
